**All kanji in the book listed at bottom**I wish I had gotten this sooner! This is so good for teaching and solidifying kanji stroke order and accuracy. We all know that kanji is the most intimidating part of learning japanese, but this book makes it so much easier!I recommend watching some videos of Japanese calligraphers first teaching kana or kanji, because each stroke ends in one of three ways: stop, sweep, and jump. This is explained in the introduction to this book, but seeing it done is essential to doing it yourself. I used a regular 4B pencil to help make the stroke endings more obvious, and also because I can erase them in the future if I want to practice again. When first beginning a new kanji, it's so tough to do it right, but I keep trying, keep looking at the example and comparing it with mine, focusing on the negative space as much as the positive to try and make mine look right. At the end, the kanji comes much more easily and the strokes really are ingrained in my head, and I'll have so much more confidence writing them in the future.This book is half dedicated to learning the stroke order of individual kanji, and then half about writing them together to form actual words. I love that the kanji in this book are organized in a really useful order, grouping together kanji you're likely to learn at the same time, whether taking a class or doing self-study. Additionally, each kanji has details about pronunciations, radicals, strokes, and then my favorite is they each have about 6 words that they are used in.
